THE MOST BEAUTIFUL THINGS ARE YET TO COME

60 min. Documentary

DIRECTED BY: RENÉE WILNA SPAN

Film maker Renée Wilna Span goes on a search to the stories behind her childhood without a father, with the only picture she has of her deceased father, a known Friesian musician from the sixties and seventies. How important is it to know your roots? The film is like a composition where conversations, archive, animation and observation sum up to a personal speculation about family karma and luck. The truth is hard, but also brings some unexpected beautiful things.
