THE MOST BEAUTIFUL THINGS ARE YET TO COME

60 min. Documentary

DIRECTED BY: RENÉE WILNA SPAN

Director Renée Wilna Span explores her childhood without a father. She own but one picture of her and her deceased father, a renowned Friesian musician during the sixties and seventies. How important is it to know your roots? The film is like a composition where conversations, archive, animation and observation sum up to a personal story about family karma and luck. The truth is hard, but also brings some unexpected beautiful things.
